Tourist attraction that became the target of every Paris’ traveler than the Eiffel tower is the Musée du Louvre. Including me and my family. We had a chance to explore this museum on October 2009. This building is the largest national museums in France, and is also the most visited museums in the world. We had to buy a ticket for 9 Euro to explore the contents of the museum and its valid for 3 hours. The museum is divided into three wings: Denon, Sully and Richelieu. Therefore, I am wondering that three hours of actual time given was not possible to explore the entire contents of this museum.
The museum is located in the former Palace of the Louvre was built in the late 12th century by King Philip II. The museum officially opened on August 10, 1793 with a display of new paintings as many as 537. It is said that this museum was once called the Musee Napoleon, when in the leadership of Napoleon. Currently, nearly 35,000 materials exhibited. It's incredible!
