Classical music concert live, first ever!

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Well, finally this night (01/04/2010) I watched live classical music concert at Die Glocke, with friends who are studying in Bremen. Since this is the first time for me, I asked and searched what is the ethic when watching a concert of classical music, if its allowed to bring food, what about camera, and there are still many others "stupid" questions.

Classical music concert was completed by the Europa Chor Akademie. How wonderful, I could listen to the harmonization of the violin, flute, and various other orchestra musical instruments, as well as soprano, alto tenor bass voice and the compactness of the choir, directly. Ticket prices range from 7 EURO (students like me) to 40 euros.

Bremer Karneval 2010

Saturday, February 6, 2010

Again, this year (06.02.2010) I experienced Bremer Carnival for the second times. Struggle with the cold weather around zero, I took some photograph. Different with Last year's motto “Rot” or all about red, the motto of this year “Land Unter” is derived from associations around the precious element of water. It appears to us in colorful, mysterious underwater worlds, in fabulous water forms in the fabled city of Atlantis, in riveting stories of sunken treasure ships, or the giants of the sea.

Flea markt in Germany

Saturday, December 12, 2009

Saturday and Sunday is a very exciting time in Germany. Not because of the festivals or free concerts, but this weekly event has sucked most of people "lower middle income" or student (like me) to sneak in a cheap shopping. In Germany called Flohmarkt, or as in Indonesia might be interpreted "pasar loak", or in the United States called "garage sale". This type of market has a lot in various cities in the world, but in different terms and traditions. So, if you have time when visit some cities in Germany, just keep your eyes on this.

According to Wikipedia, mention that the term of this market is still much debated. According to the book "Word and Phrase Origins", the term comes from "Vallie Market" of Manhattan. However, some others saying that came from a flea market in rural areas of Paris which run since the late 17th century. While in Germany the term is derived from the last king Kleidergaben..

Western-style flea market, selling various used goods whose price is very cheap. Goods sold are also very varied, from children's toys, housewares, electronics, and carpentry tools. In addition, we can bargain here. This flea market is usually held in the open area, but in some places in the hall or building.

Traditional flea market is often organized by voluntary associations or specially formed working groups in each community. Some very famous flea market in Germany because of including the largest, longest and oldest, for example, flea markets of Berlin, Frankfurt (I've been here!),  Bonn, Munich, Bremen (I live here :) ) and Hanover.

So, if you need something cheap while in vacation, just come to flohmarkt.

Werder Bremen fight AC Milan

Thursday, February 19, 2009

wesser stadionIt was like a dream, when i heard Werder Bremen will fight with AC Milan, right here in Wesser Stadion Bremen. It is really a good opportunity for me to watch live. So, I asked my friend also to joint. Then we were starting to search ticket, and we end up in ebay.com. Thank God finally we got it, but we have to wait until 18.02.2009, the H day, because he was in a journey.

Back to the game. This is round 32 of UEFA Cup 2008-2009. The first match result was 1 to 1. But I tell you, Werder really deserved to win. They had many chance to get score. But game is game. Like Germans said "Nach dem Spiel vor dem spiel", after this game there will be another game. The 2nd leg will be in AC Milan house in Italy. For your information, this season will be the final one using the current format; starting in 2009, the event will be known as the UEFA Europa League.

Well, this was my first experience watching international football game live in stadium.  It was great to see Dida, Pirlo, Ronaldinho, Insaghi, and Beckham live!!! So win or lose, really doesn't matter for me. Guys, enjoy my pictures to feel the atmosphere in Wesser Stadion...

Botanical Garten und EURO 2008

Sunday, June 8, 2008

Udah gitu sepertinya baju kita over wash. Hehehe...

Abis acara cuci mencuci. Kita keluar makan siang.

Pastinya bakal seru banget soalnya Germany lawan Poland. Hehehe....

Pas masuk ternyata dah langsung main. Teriakan, Sorakan, Yel2...semuanya bergema. Seru banget. Kita ikut2an teriak2. meskipun gak jelas teriakannya apa. Hehehe.. Kita nonton ber 6 (aku arli akbar verra dan 2 orang Bangladesh sadat dan nessar). Kita semua seru2an. Meskipun kita gak memakai atribut2 jerman. Soalnya para deutscher pada make semua atribut, bendera topi kalung. Pokoknya macem2 deh.

Akhirnya Deutschland menang!!!!! 2 lawan 0. hebat!!! Super!!! Gak sia2 nonton. Ternyata seru banget nonton bareng. Trus kita langsung pulang. Untung masih ada bus.. zzzzzzzz zzzzzz..

DAAD farewell party

Thursday, May 1, 2008

Minum ahhh….

Udah minum-minum, saya langsung cek-cek ruangan. Meskipun ditata sederhana, tapi kerasa banget nuansa Jermannya. Bendera Jerman dimana-mana, yah iyalah. Makanya saya coba aja berpose di depannya. Hihihihi. Noraks abis.. Alhasil semua didokumentasikan. Acara di buka dengan speech oleh Mrs. Ilona Krueger-Rechmann (Direktur DAAD Jakarta), Mr. Hans-Joerg Brunner (Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the German Embassy), dan Dr. Christian Bode (Secretary General of the DAAD).
