One night in Sahara

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

It took about 10 hours from Marrakech (including two pit stops!) to reach Sahara. We were approaching Sahara from Zagora. From there, we ride camel for about 1.5 hours. We were just at "the gate" of the Sahara Desert. Over night in a Berber tent was amazing. The Sahara desert is one of nature’s wonders and has always mystified people with its vast stretches of sand. It covers around 9,000,000 square kilometers and the overall area is as large as the continental United States. It also has the reputation of being the world’s largest hot desert! 38°C is just a normal..

turn 30 and not married (yet!)

Haha! I have long wanted to perpetuate this unique tradition. But just a few weeks ago accomplished.
So here goes the story, if a young German boy aged 30 years and unmarried, there is a unique tradition by wearing a costume like a suit. This man should sweep hundreds of bottle caps that deliberately dissipated at the front door of the church. This tradition is said to have lasted a long time and not only in Bremen, but in most cities in Germany.
So enjoy the pictures!
