-Park Güell-

Spain 5 28.-29.12.2009 - To close the trip, Barcelona became our target. We are very pleased to explore the city that is synonymous with Gaudi. There are many popular places in Barcelona. Hostel where we had to stay right in the street Rambla de Catalunya. The hostel is right in the middle of the city and located near the Plaza de Catalunya. Even more astonishing was about the hostel rates, we payed for only 8 euros per night. After checking in, we immediately walk to the Plaça de Catalunya.

The next day, we started our trip by visiting the headquarters of FC Barcelona "Camp Nou". Finally able to see this magnificent stadium. In addition, we bought some souvenirs typical of FC Barcelona at the store within this area.We continued the exploration of this city at Park Güell, one of Gaudi's greatest work. After being here, we continued our journey to La Sagrada Família, Gaudi's masterpiece one legacy which is still built today. On this occasion, we did not get into this monument, the ticket is about EURO 8-16. Many peoples said not worth to enter it.

The trip is not complete before set foot on La Rambla. The most famous street in Barcelona. Here, many artists found in the streets and also a variety of souvenirs on sale in this area. At the end of the street of La Rambla, there is a Statue of Christopher Columbus, overlooking the Mediterranean sea. In this area, there is a bridge called "Ramla de Mar" and the old port "Port Vell". Tourists are very spoiled here.

The next day, we enjoyed the beauty of the city of Barcelona from Montjuic Plaça Espanya. Places in these hills, has been designed in such a way as to facilitate the tourists. There are several escalators on the side of the road. At its peak, there are number "street artists" who are ready to entertain. In the evening, we enjoyed the beauty of decorative lights on the walls of the building "Torre Agbar", very unusual.

Alhamdulillah, finally I could see directly the masterpieces of Gaudi in Barcelona. Speaking of Barcelona, it is speaking  about Gaudi. Well, enjoy the pictures from Barcelona here. The next day on 30.12.2009 fly back to Bremen. Home sweet home.
